A. M. Grimm writes thrilling stories filled with passion and suspense, but she's also backpacked across Europe, tried cases before a jury, hiked in the Alps, lived in a 16th-century Italian villa, and sung opera. She channels all of it—the courtrooms, the journeys, the adventure—into stories about women who refuse to be underestimated, the men who adore them, and the villains foolish enough to stand in the way of love.

Her debut novel, Cliffhaven, was a finalist for the Daphne du Maurier Award and the Diamond Heart (formerly the RITA). Her second novel, Shattered Instinct, takes readers from the canals of Amsterdam to the mountains of Romania, because she couldn’t resist going back.

Anne Marie resides in Michigan, where she's living out her personal H.E.A. with her husband, children, and morally ambiguous cat. She loves to hear from readers.
